You surf the Net and have an E-mail account accessible from anywhere in the world. All you need is to be on a computer with Internet Access.
Many libraries now provide free access to the Internet via their computers. Some libraries require you to make an appointment. Others limit the amount of time you can spend on the computer. Anyway you look at it, though, you can get access!
So you got access, now what? As our last article outlined, the World Wide Web contains a lot of information about USPS. In addition, we have multiple mailing lists running. A mailing list is a device that permits one message to be re -distributed to many people, by sending that single message to one address.
Not only can you access your E-mail from any Internet connected computer, without loosing your mail, you can get e-mail service free! You can get free, legitimate, functional E-mail and you don’t even have to give the service provider your real name.
There are only two downside elements to this deal. First, you log into your e-mail server through the World Wide Web, which means you’ll have to look at a bunch of banner advertisements on the Web-enabled mail program. But that’s a sm all price to pay for a free service. Second, depending on which service you pick, some people may not take you seriously because many of these free services are used by people who wish to remain anonymous.
Here’s a listing of some of the larger free e-mail services. Point your Web Browser to them and see what they offer. All the interfaces and extended options are a little different. Hope to see you on line and on the PSML Mailing List real soon!
